Quotes state what is included: units, labour, materials, commissioning and typical waste removal. If something might change after opening up (extra pipework, electrical work), we flag it at survey so you are not surprised later.

Surveys for standard domestic and commercial installs are usually free and without obligation. For complex or remote sites we will say upfront if a survey fee applies and how it is credited against the job if you proceed.

We can sometimes indicate a budget range from dimensions and photos, but an accurate written quote normally needs a visit to check electrical supply, pipe routes, outdoor unit positions and access.

Yes. Installation and servicing continue year round where access and weather allow. Heat pump systems are often used for efficient heating in colder months as well as cooling in summer.

Many domestic wall-mounted splits fall within permitted development if size and position rules are met, but listed buildings, flats and conservation areas can be different. We advise on typical positions at survey; you confirm local rules with your council if needed.

Modern indoor and outdoor units are much quieter than older kit. We discuss noise ratings and sensible positions for bedrooms and neighbour boundaries before you commit.

Often yes, subject to lease or management rules on external equipment and penetrations. We read any restrictions with you at survey so the quote matches what is allowed.

A single-room split often completes in one day. Multi-room or commercial installs can take longer. Your quote includes an indicative schedule after survey.

Split systems need a routed pipe and cable path between indoor and outdoor units. We keep penetrations neat, sleeve and seal them, and agree routes with you before drilling.

Units need a suitable dedicated supply. We check the existing board at survey and state any electrical work clearly on the quote, either included or referred to a qualified electrician where required.

Most manufacturers recommend at least annual servicing for warranties and efficiency. Busy commercial systems may need more frequent visits. We offer one-off services and maintenance plans.

We repair many common split and multi-split systems. If parts are obsolete or uneconomic to repair, we explain options honestly, including replacement when that is the better long-term choice.

Refrigerant work is carried out by appropriately qualified engineers in line with UK F-Gas requirements. That covers installation, leak checks and repairs on systems we install and maintain.

Yes. Most split systems we install are heat pumps, so they provide efficient heating in winter and cooling in summer from the same unit.

Running costs depend on room size, insulation, electricity tariff and how you use the system. We size equipment sensibly and explain typical use at handover rather than quoting running costs that may not match your home.

Yes. We maintain and repair display fridges, cold rooms, cellar cooling and catering refrigeration alongside air conditioning systems. Planned contracts are available for busy sites.
